Active ingredient: Tenofovir disoproxil 245 mg
(as Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate 300 mg)
Excipients: Wheat starch, Lactose, Talc, Magnesium stearate, Povidone K30, Sodium lauryl sulfate, Croscarmellose sodium, Hydroxy propyl methyl cellulose E15, Polyethylene glycol 6000, Titanium dioxide, Patent blue color.
Indications for treatment
- HIV-1 infection in adults over 18 years old: Must be combined with other antiretroviral drugs.
-Prophylaxis for health workers who have to come into contact with products (blood, body fluids, etc.) at risk of HIV infection: Must be combined with other antiretroviral drugs.
-Hepatitis B in adults over 18 years of age with compensated liver function, evidence of active viral replication, persistent elevation of ALT, active hepatitis, and/or histologically demonstrated cirrhotic tissue.
How to use, dosage
HTB FOVIR 245 tablets are taken once a day, can be taken on full or fasting.
Contraindications
Patients with known hypersensitivity to tenofovir disproxil fumarate or any of the excipients.
Warnings and cautions when taking drugs
Tenofovir disproxil fumarate should be discontinued when rapidly increasing aminotransferase levels, progressive liver enlargement or fatty liver, or metabolic acidosis or lactic acidosis of unknown cause are observed.
