Treatment duration:

To completely cure the infection, the duration of medication must be followed as prescribed by your doctor, even though you may feel better after a few days of taking the medication. If the medication is stopped sooner than prescribed, symptoms may reappear.

The effectiveness of Clarithromycin will be better if a constant drug concentration is maintained in the blood, so the interval between doses should be maintained constant. For example, if two doses are taken in 24 hours, the interval between doses should be 12 hours. You should consult your doctor or pharmacist if the time you take the medication affects your sleep or daily activities, or you want advice to arrange a medication schedule.

If you take a larger than usual dose of Remeclar:

- Contact your doctor immediately if you take a larger than usual dose.

- Symptoms of overdose: gastrointestinal symptoms and rarely changes in mental status, paranoia-like behavior, hypokalaemia, hypoxia. Reactions due to overdose should be treated with gastric lavage and supportive measures.

What you should know when you miss a dose:

If you must take this medication continuously and miss a dose, take that dose as soon as possible. If the time you remember is right around the time of your next dose, do not take the missed dose but take the medicine according to the usual schedule. Do not take a double dose. Consult your doctor if you forget to take more than 1 dose because you may have to start a new course of treatment.
