– Amoxicillin (as trihydrate)…1000 mg.
– Clavulanic acid (as potassium clavulanate mixed with microcrystalline cellulose at 1:1 ratio)…62.5 mg.
Point:
– Upper respiratory tract infections: tonsillitis, sinusitis, otitis media.
– Lower respiratory tract infections: acute and chronic bronchitis, lobar pneumonia and bronchopneumonia, pulmonary edema, lung abscess.
– Genitourinary infections: cystitis, urethritis, pelvic inflammatory disease, chancroid, gonorrhea…

– Drink at the beginning of meals.
– Dosage is calculated according to the amount of amoxicillin:
+ Adults and children over 40kg: 2-3 times a day, each time take one tablet of 500mg-1000mg.
+ Children under 40kg: 3 times a day, 20mg-60mg/kg/day.
+ Kidney failure dose adjustment: 500mg 1-2 times/day.
Contraindications:
– Allergy to beta-lactam group and any ingredient of the drug.
– History of jaundice or liver dysfunction occurring when using Augmentin or Penicillin.
– Increased mononucleosis due to infection.
Careful:
- CKD.
– Liver damage.
– Erythema accompanied by granulocytic fever in patients using amoxycillin. Use should be avoided if granulocytic fever is suspected.
– Be cautious with people taking anticoagulants.
– The drug interacts with methotrexate, probenecid, mycophenolate mofetil.
Pregnant and lactating women:
– Avoid use with pregnant women in the first 3 months unless necessary.
– Breastfeeding women can use it.
Expiry date: 24 months from date of manufacture.
